I was working my way through the gem of a website that is Scandinavia and the World and, through some other quirk of the universe, ended up on somebody's very creatively designed blog (still not sure how it happened- I start at apples and a few clicks later I'm at 'how to turn a tennis racquet into a chair').
After a bit of skimming, I have decided to thief what is, I'm sure, already a meme in progress; more than likely, it's one I missed during the eternal winter that made up my lurker days.

So, without further ado, 100 Things! (about me, in no particular order)

Seeing as today is one of those days where my attention span is similar to that of a gnat, I'm going to stick to 10 things for the moment.

1) I'm probably a little too fond of commas. I believe this stems from my previous inability to use them correctly, except I seem to have gone in and come out the other side in terms of over-usage...

2) I like chocolate. Quite a bit, in fact...

3) But my sweet-tooth has shrunk a considerable amount over the past few years. For some reason, I sometimes regret that.

4) I'm a London girl, born if not bred. I adore cities in general (I like how busy they are) but London is always going to hold a special place in my heart, in part because of a few special places...

5) Special places:
- Camden: the place I went when I first realised that being myself was far more fun than being anything else.
- Brick Lane: oh the pretty dresses
- The Globe: groundling tickets are amazing

6) I'm a sci-fi/fantasy fan, although I haven't been reading as much recently. I'm hoping to change that :-)

7) The name 'Adunni' is one of many my parents gave me, and in Yoruba means 'treasure'.

8) I hate ants. Honestly cannot stand them at ALL. I'm not sure where this phobia came from, as up until a few years ago I was perfectly fine with them; I wasn't their biggest fan, but they were simply insects. Now? CRAWLING MONSTROSITIES FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL

9) I never really had an imaginary friend. Upon realising that I'd missed out on this supposedly important stage in child development, at the age of 8 I decided to make one up. I kept forgetting about it.

10) I make an awesome potato and sweetcorn chowder.
